Areas of Practice: Corporate & Commercial Law, Wills, Estates & Trusts
I was born in the small town of Bonnyville, Alberta and raised within my father’s business. Following him in tow and helping out where I could, allowed me to develop a keen interest in business from the outset. Continuing on this path, I completed a commerce degree (Business Economics & Business Law) at the University of Alberta.
Even though I am an Albertan through and through, I decided to see a bit more of Canada and wound up falling in love with British Columbia. I completed my law degree at Peter A. Allard School of Law (UBC Vancouver Campus) in 2018. During my first year of law school, I was hired as a summer student at Touchstone Law Group LLP and I have been here ever since.
Having a business background naturally predisposed me towards business law. I graduated law school with a J.D. and Business Law Concentration. In 2021, I also became licensed to practice in Alberta.
My practice areas include Corporate & Commercial Law and Estate Planning & Estate Administration. Whatever stage you may be in your business (whether just starting or expanding), I am keen to assist. Some of my particular interests include acquisitions, franchises, commercial lending & internal restructuring.
I spend most of my free time with my cat, Lillian. But, you can also find me hiking around the Okanagan, boating, and indulging in the wineries. I also enjoy challenging myself in the kitchen. Whether it comes to baking or cooking, it’s unlikely you will see me make the same thing twice.
