I grew up in the frozen metropolis of Calgary, Alberta. I attended Carleton University in our nation’s capital before deciding I’d had enough of brutal winters and soon transferred to the University of British Columbia Okanagan where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology. My BA has ensured I hyper analyze group dynamics and social structures.
After graduation, I decided to backpack on and off for three years. Traveling throughout Europe and Southeast Asia led
me to a new interest in each country’s laws, soon developing an appreciation for those of my own.
Hoping to combine both the travel and the legal bug, I applied to Bond University located on the Gold Coast of Australia. Unfortunately for me, most of my schooling was completed online through 2020/2021 as a result of the pandemic. Fortunately for me, however, this meant I was able to work full time as a legal assistant while completing university courses in the wee hours of the night! I graduated from Bond University in February 2023 with distinction.
Touchstone Law Group LLP has allowed me to dip my toes into the areas of real estate, commercial/corporate and wills and estates law and for this I am grateful. The highlights of my time with this firm have always surrounded client contact and relationship building. I am never shy to sit in on a meeting or get to know the fine folk of Kelowna at networking events.
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, painting, and visiting my pal, Gym.
I expect to be called to the Bar in British Columbia in January 2025, but until then, you can find me learning from the great mentors of Touchstone Law Group LLP, Una and Jane.
