Touchstone Law Group LLP’s wills and estates team handles all matters related to estate planning and estate administration. With respect to estate planning, the wills and estates team works closely with the responsible lawyer, clients and other advisors to prepare high quality and customized estate and incapacity planning services which fit each client’s unique needs and wishes. They also assist clients in navigating the administration of estates following the passing of their loved ones. Here is a little bit more about the wonderful ladies who make up the wills and estates team at Touchstone Law Group LLP:

Ashley Hockenhull

Ashley joined the Wills and Estates department at Touchstone Law Group LLP in October 2016.  Having grown up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Ashley moved to the Okanagan in 2006.  After completing her BSc. in Psychology she began working as a legal assistant in 2013.  When she’s not in the office you can usually find her hiking, biking and enjoying the great Okanagan weather or stretching it out on her yoga mat.  Ashley and her husband have recently welcomed their first daughter and she is currently on maternity leave.

Carmen MacKintosh

Carmen was Touchstone Law Group LLP’s first practicum student and was hired on as a full-time employee in 2017. Carmen received her Paralegal Diploma from Vancouver Career College in January of 2017. She works very closely with Jennette Vopicka, Danielle (Dani) Brito and Jane Otterstrom in the Wills & Estates Department. Carmen was born in Salmon Arm, BC and moved to Kelowna in 2011. When not in the office, Carmen can be found enjoying the outdoors, playing hockey, and spending time with her family, friends and cats.

Morgan Olson

Morgan was born in Sechelt, BC and made her most recent move to Kelowna, BC September 2017. Morgan joined Touchstone Law Group LLP in January 2018 and is part of Touchstone Law Group LLP’s corporate/commercial team as well as Touchstone Law Group LLP’s wills and estates team. She graduated from UBC Okanagan with her Gender and Women’s Studies BA. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys wine tasting with friends, travelling and enjoying the outdoors.
